Pretty in Pink Continues to Support Hospice Families

Pretty in Pink, a women’s group from Dover, recently presented a donation of $17,000 to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. The group raised the funds through their golf tournament in June and their Hospice Hoedown dinner and dance in October.

“I can’t thank all the members of Pretty in Pink enough for their generosity, dedication and energy to raising funds to support our hospice families. They are tremendous community supporters and they know how to have fun doing it! shared Jodi Maroney, Executive Director, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.

Pretty in Pink began supporting the Chatham-Kent Hospice in 2014 when funds were being raised to build the hospice. Over the past five years, they have raised over $64,500 through various events.

“When you consider the average cost to care for one resident for a day is $337 that means the Pretty in Pink group have covered over 191 days with their donations.” shared Jodi Maroney “Their thoughtfulness to our hospice families and our community is greatly appreciated.”
